What is it?

The Bidtastic Misspelt Items Search lets you search for auction items that have their title misspelt.
A lot of these misspelt items will have no bids against them and so you can usually end up with a bargain.

There are three types of search available:

  • General Typos - Letters missed out, doubled up and swapped around
  • Proximity Typos - Each letter of the search term is replaced with its closest neighbours on the keyboard.
  • Misspellings - These are common misspellings of words

How to use it

Just enter the Search word or phrase that you are interested in and press one of the buttons.
If you want to search a different site then select it from the list first.
A new window will open up with the search carried out for you using suitable typos/misspellings.

Why use it?

There are several reasons why you would want to use the Bidtastic Misspelt Items Search:

  • There usually won't be that many bids on an item misspelt as most potential bidders will not be able to find it.
  • If the item has no reserve then you are likely to get it very cheaply.
  • Many other sites that offer misspelling searches actually search mistyped auction items only. This means the items that are genuinely misspelt (in the seller's belief that they have spelt it correctly) still go undetected by those searches.
