What is it?

The Bidtastic Auction Summary displays summary information in three sections about an auction item you are interested in:

  • Item Info - Details about the item being auctioned
  • Seller Info - Details about the Seller of the item
  • Buyer Info - Details about the current highest bidder for the item

How to get it

The best way to use the Auction Summary is to download the context menu add-in. Then the Summary is just a right-click away.

Alternatively, just enter the Item Number, which can be found on the right hand side at the top of the auction, and press "Get Summary".
To do this you can type the number in manually or Copy and Paste it in.
To Copy and Paste it, double click with the left mouse button on the Item Number when on eBay, then right click on the highlighted number, choose Copy from the context menu that pops up, then on this page right click over the entry field above and select Paste.

Currently the Auction Summary works with eBay only.

Why use it?

There are several reasons why you would want to use the Bidtastic Auction Summary:

  • Related details are grouped together to make it easier to review an auction item
  • A variety of useful links to eBay display additional information about the item, seller and current highest bidder
  • Instantly see the cost if you were to be the winner of the auction with the next bid
  • Allows you to research the Seller to give you greater confidence when bidding on an item
  • Provides details of any Terms of Sale which may not be prominently displayed in the auction description.
  • Allows Sellers to quickly research their current highest bidder
